As the days start to become shorter and nights cooler, it is not too early to start planning that fall excursion to West Central Wisconsin to see the beautiful fall colors that this area has to offer. Autumn in Wisconsin is all about the color and getting out to see the fall color.
The Kickapoo Valley with its many hillsides is just the perfect location to visit to view the many fall colors. We have Wildcat State Park, Kickapoo Valley Reserve and the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail which all are spectacular with color during early to mid-October which is when Central Wisconsin reaches its peak in foliage activity.
To monitor the fall colors, check out the Fall Color Report on Travel Wisconsin at http://www.travelwisconsin.com/fallcolor_report.aspx

Hi!I and my sister Jen stayed with you Saturday, August 7, and rode the top half (Sparta-Wilton)of the bike trail. My project is to ride all the Wisconsin state bike touring trails, and I have a bike blog recording that experience. I have added your blog to my blogroll. Check it out!
Thanks,
Janet.
