Anderson Park which is near the geographical center of the Driftless Area.

The Driftless Area Art Festival is a celebration of the Driftless Area’s visual, performing and culinary arts.  The Art Festival is distinguished by its mission to showcase only regional artists.  The festival features over 80 visual art exhibitors, live music and performances and great local foods.  Free Admission and parking.

If unable to attend the Art Festival consider visiting the heart of the Driftless Area another time.  The heart of the Driftless Area is Crawford and Vernon County Wisconsin bordered by the Mississippi River on the West and the Kickapoo River on the east.  The Driftless Area was never touched by glaciers and is thus characterized by its beautifully sculpted topography.  The forested hillsides, valleys cut into limestone by cold-water trout streams, wetlands, grasslands laden with wildflowers provide an inspirational setting for many a talented artist.
